Japan Fetal Therapy Group

A research group that exists to provide scientific verification of the effectiveness and safety of treatment methods for unborn patients in Japan, in addition to promoting the clinical application of fetal therapy.

The organization was founded as part of research undertaken during the fiscal 2007-2009 Health and Labour Science Research Grant research project entitled “Science-Based Research into Clinical Applications of Fetal Therapy” (2007-Clinical Trial-General-009:Sago H.), and is currently part of the fiscal 2011-2013 Health and Labour Science Research Grant research project entitled “Clinical Research into Fetal Therapy for  arrhythmia” (2011-Clinical Research Promotion-General-004:Sago H.) and the fiscal 2002 Child Health and Development Grant research project entitled “Research into Clinical Applications of Advanced Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy” (24-2:Sago H.)
